Aviation Meteorology Training Seminar Banner 2022

The aim of this training course is to provide participants with training, guidance and practical examples of several key aspects of meteorology and forecasting for aviation. The sessions will focus on the topics of aviation hazards, including forecasting and weather-watch of cloud ceiling and visibility on an Aerodrome Forecast (TAF), forecasting icing for a SIGMET, and responding to a Volcanic Ash Advisory. Each module will include a case study on the hazard. Participants are strongly encouraged to share further examples in the Discussion Forums provided.
